ABOUT ME
Look, by now you've seen enough ABOUT ME's to imagine what mine says. I'd like to challenge that.
I could tell you that I'm a freelance journalist and that I've studied journalism at the University of Toronto and Centennial College, but I won't.
I could tell you that I've published articles with Vocal, PrintAction Magazine, and The Toronto Observer, but I won't.
I could tell you that I've interned at 680 News, but I won't.
Instead, I'll tell you what I'm about.
I'm about going to the scene to cover a story, like going to TIFF or a Terry Fox Run in September. I'm about covering stories on social issues, like increasing gender-balanced workplaces. I'm about highlighting members of Canadian industries, like print and packaging, to Toronto-based photography, to how a Toronto-based bakery fits into the greater Canadian baking industry. I'm about highlighting fascinations as small as card crafting to global, natural phenomena. I'm about finding the truth, learning the facts, and sharing a meaningful story in the process.
That's me.
